Selling in New Jersey

Paperwork I'll handle for you

These are the New Jersey steps that most often hold up a closing when nobody's watching them.

Smoke and carbon monoxide certificate
Before closing, sellers need a certificate showing smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and a fire extinguisher meet state rules. I schedule it early.
Town resale inspections
Many towns require their own inspection or certificate of occupancy before a sale. Requirements differ by town, so I check yours when we list.
Attorney review
Once a contract is signed, both attorneys have three business days to review it. I keep the deal moving and both attorneys informed.

Your weekly update

You'll never have to ask "any news?"

Every Tuesday while your home is on the market, you get an email with:

Showings

How many buyers came through that week and how that compares to the week before.

Buyer feedback

What buyers and their agents said, word for word, so we can adjust if needed.

Online activity

Views and saves on Zillow and Homes.com, so you can see interest before offers arrive.

“She really showed her professionalism when it was time to make an offer - she knew exactly how to negotiate in a highly competitive situation.”Caitlin · Client · Google review
